It was near the end of May and summer is about to arrive. Schools are about to start their summer holidays. Glenn was scribbling his answer on his exam paper with concentration. It was his last exam. The Japanese exam. A few students are also in this class. And all of them are concentrating on the paper. Mr Morikawa was leaning against the wall, saying, "San-jyu pun."
Reo Minamio was sitting a few seats behind Glenn. He was scribbling his answer coolly but his eyes were way too busy staring at Glenn. Reo was staring at him too intently til Mr Morikawa said, "Minamio-san, doushitano?"
Reo gave a jump and shook his head.
As Mr Morikawa announced that time is up and collected their paper and dismissed them, all the entire Columbia students burst throught the doors. Students were leaping up and down at the entrance, since summer is arriving.
"Yo, Glenn, my man." Francis said, jumping onto Glenn. "Summer's here. Why the gloomy face?"
"'Cos my boss refuse to give me breaks for my job." Glenn moaned. "In case you haven't know, I start full time during summer holidays."
"That's a pity." Francis said.
"Hey, guys!!!" Mia yelled, running towards them. "Party at my place at 8 p.m. as a end of school day."
Both guys turned to her, looking rather amused. Francis then said, "Hey, Mahler, who else did you invite?"
Mia halted in front of them and took out a stack of papers from her black nylon shoulder bag. She brush through it and said, "Well, not that much because of my parents' rules, but there's you two, Karen and Reo Minamio. Try to bring some snacks if you can."
"Isn't Reo Minamio from the engineering class?" Glenn asked, glancing at Reo who is sitting on the wall, reading a paperback. Reo is a Japanese who recently transfered into Columbia from Nagasaki. His shoulder-length hair is sleek and dark with a few strands of chestnut and hazel. His eyes showed no emotion or took any notice of the students around him.
"I kinda feel sorry for him." Karen said, joining them. Her strawberry blonde hair glowing in the bright sunshine. "Most people thinks he's a weirdo."
"He kinda looks like one." Francis said.
"That's why I'm inviting him to our year end celebration." Mia said cheerfully. "See you guys at 8. Come on, Karen. Let's go to downtown and grab some supplies."
As Karen and Mia left, V.V. walked up towards Glenn and Francis. "Hi, Lloyd send me to get you."
Glenn looked peeved. He yelled, "Why are you here???"
"I was sent by Lloyd to pick you up." V.V. said rather coolly.
"Who the heck are you?" Francis asked.
"Vivi." V.V. said, without skipping a beat.
"So, Vivi..." Francis said rather casually. "How do you know Glenn?"
Before V.V. could answer, Glenn quickly blubbered out, "She's my long lost cousin from uh...."
"Russia." V.V. said. "Moscow."
"Whoa...." Francis's eyes popped.
"Well, gotta go. Duty calls." Glenn hurried V.V. to the outside of Columbia and hissed, "What was that all about?"
"Like I said, Lloyd sent me to pick you up." V.V. said. Suddenly, her eyes stared at behind Glenn's shoulder. Curious, he turned around and saw the new Chinese restaurant, Nian Nian You Yi. V.V. was gazing at the window which shows display of the most popular menu, Fried Shrimps with Cocktail Sauce.
"Oh, I get it." Glenn said. "You want fried shrimps with cocktail sauce."
V.V. nodded.
Glenn sighed and took out his American Express card and said, "Just this once."

"What on earth did you just buy?!!!!!!" Lloyd shrieked staring at the large box of fried shrimps in V.V.'s hands.
Glenn sighed and said, "She insisted on getting a deluxe sized fried shrimps and cocktail sauce."
"What did you use to pay the bill?!!!!!"
"The American Express card."
"THAT CARD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY!!!!!!!!!" Lloyd screamed. "IF THIS KEEPS GOING ON, THEN I CAN'T AFFORD THE BILL!!!!!"
Glenn shrugged and went into his room, ready to change into his street clothes and go to downtown and buy some Haagen-Dazs and some Lays crisps for Mia's party.
At the top of a skyscraper, there are triplets dressed in similar jesters clothes. One is a boy, one is a girl, and another one who can't tell whethher it's a she or he. The boy wore red and white jester outfit with a sapphire gem on his hat, the girl wore blue and white jester outfit with a ruby gem on her hat and the last one wore yellow and white jester outfit with an emerald gem on its hat.
"Wow. This place is so cool..." The boy said. He turned to the other two and said, "What do you think, Gabriel, Triel?"
Both Gabriel and Triel nodded with agreement.
The boy leaned over the skyscraper and grinned. "Enough to make chaos."

In Grand Union, Reo was pushing a trolley filled with Coca-Cola and some Pringles snacks and a packet of mini pretzels. He had just received an invitation from Mia but he was pretty doubtful about the accepting.
As he walked back from Columbia, a voice called out, "Reo Minamio???"
He turned around to see Mia running towards him, her hands full of groceries. Karen was standing a little way behind her, also carrying groceries.
Mia panted as she stopped behind him and said, "Here. This is for you." She handed him a neat little invitation card.
Reo stared at her uniform and said, "Are you from Columbia?"
"Yep. I'm from the medical class." Mia said. "Since this is our last day of school, why don't we party out a little at my apartment?"
"I'm not sure." Reo said slowly.
"It'll be fun..." Mia said. She then pleaded. "Please????"
Reo adjusted his black Adidas sports bag and shrugged, saying, "I'll try."
Mia gave a shriek of joy and hugged him, saying, "You won't regret it, I promise you...Make sure to bring some snacks if you can."
Maybe I shouldn't have said yes, Reo thought as he pushed the trolley towards a counter and began putting the items that he had purchased onto the counter. But I guess it should be fun...
Suddenly, something caught his eye. Glenn was right over at the other counter, paying. He didn't buy much but as far as he can see, he saw two Haagen-Daazs ice cream, some Lays crisps and a 6-pack 7-ups.
Don't tell me he's invited too, Reo thought.
"Excuse me." A voice said bringing him back to earth. He blinked to see the cashier had already piled everything into plastic bags and was holding out his hand for payment. "That'll be fifty eight dollars and ninety cents."
Reo opened his wallet and took out a fifty dollar note and a ten dollar note. As he turned around, he saw that Glenn had already left.
As the cashier handed him his change and he took his stuff with him, he flipped open his mobile phone and waited for the receiver.
After a few minutes, a voice said, "Yes?"
"I think I just found out something intresting." Reo said, adjusting one bag of the groceries to his other hand. "By the way, could you send someone over to take me up to midtown later?"
Suddenly, a car just pulled up as he finished his sentence. He whistled and said, "Whew.. Impressive."

RINNG!!!!
Lloyd leapt over to the phone and said, "Hello, Supernatural Demon Slayers (S.D.S.) service. How may I help you?"
"You are the supernatural slayers, correct?" A deep voice said.
"Ummm...Yeah..." Lloyd said. "May I know who is this speaking?"
"I am the President of the Unied States." The voice said.
Lloyd nearly dropped the phone in atnoishment. The President of the Unite States??? Why did he call?
"Ummm...Mr. President, sir..." Lloyd said. "What can I do for you?"
"Take a look at outside." Mr. President said.
Lloyd opened the window shutters and his eyes nearly popped out of his head. Everything was multiplied, like some skyscrapers and some houses. Even the Statue of Liberty is multiplied into three.
"OH MY GOD!!!!!" Lloyd yelled.
V.V. came running in from the kitchen, wearing a pink apron with a tortoise pattern on her white gown. "What's going on???"
"Mr. President, sir. I think I better go. There's some supernatural cases going on here..." Lloyd dropped the phone and said, "V.V., go and get ready. And....where's Glenn?"
"He left early." V.V. handed Lloyd a small note. "He left this in the kitchen."
Lloyd took the note and read it.
Going over to Grand Union now to get snack supplies. Going straight to Mia's after buying. See you guys later. Don't bother waiting up for me. I took the spare keys with me and my cellphone. - Glenn
"Well, it looks like it's just you and me, V." Lloyd said, putting an arm around V.V.
Suddenly, he siffed in the air. "What were you cooking?"
"Miso Ramen." V.V. said. "You guys have been eating waaaaay to much take outs."
"How did you buy the stuff in the first place?"
V.V.'s hair held out something thin and rectangular shaped. An American Express card!!!!!
"ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Lloyd screamed. "V.V.!!!!!!!! WHEN YOU USE A CREDIT CARD, YOU CAN BUY WHATEVER YOU WANT, BUT SOMEONE HAS TO PAY FOR IT LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!"
V.V. just gave a shrug and said, "Oops???"
Lloyd rubbed his head and said," Just get me some aspirin and a bowl of ramen."
V.V. came back few minutes later, her hair holding a bottle of aspirin, and her hands holding a large bowl of Miso Ramen. The toppings were generously topped with thin slices of carrots, celeres and some white cabbage. Five pieces of naruto were placed on the side with three large round shaped chicken meat. The noodles were right below the toppings and the soup is a golden brown in colour.
Without a word, he ate it and said through his mouthful. " Delicious. Deed you cookf this yourself?"
V.V. nodded and applied some aspirin on his head with her hair.
After finishing eating, Lloyd and V.V. drove off with the Land Rover to town. When they reached the Brooklyn Bridge, they saw a huge traffic jam. Cars are honking, drivers are yelling and cursing, some even use the f word and showed rude gestures.
Lloyd got off the Land Rover and said, "What's going on???"
V.V. also got out and stared at the commotion. Suddenly, the Brooklyn Bridge multiplied into three. People screamed and tried to move their vehicle but suddenly, three jesters triplets appeared. he red one was laughing, saying, "That was fun."
"Oi, you!!!!" Lloyd said, squeezing his way to the three jesters with V.V. behind him. "Listen up, you and your trio squad had better put things back as it was and maybe I'll spare you."
The red jester said, "Oho, you got some guts to tell me, Ariel of the Offensive, to do, human."
Suddenly, a large blade was swinging right towards Ariel who dodged in time but a scratch cut his cheek. Lloyd had already taken out his weapon and V.V.'s hair became a large sickle.
"Oh, I underestimated you." Ariel said. "You're not ordinary, and you have someone who is not human with you. Intresting... Gabriel, Defensive Mode."
The blue jester called Gabriel said, "Defensive Magic Blue."
A large barrier aura suddenly shine on the three jesters, no doubt protecting them.
Lloyd smirked and said, "Interesting...Very interesting indeed..."
